Our Better Neighbor Project team recently hosted an Adoption Fest and Pet Wellness Day in Los Angeles, providing free care and resources. These events not only provide support but also strengthen our community.
In this video, you’ll meet a few community heroes, including Oswaldo, a volunteer who found a stray dog on his way to the event. By the end of the day, his family decided to give that dog a forever home. With help from our team of partners and volunteers, he received the dog’s initial vaccinations, ID tags, pet food, a bed, and more.
Thanks to our partner Hectic Paws, 62 pets received free wellness services, and many others were adopted into loving homes, thanks to the incredible work of LA Animal Services.
A heartfelt thank you to Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez, Assemblymember Mark Gonzalez, and all of our community partners and volunteers who continue to show up for animals and the people who love them.
This video is a powerful reminder of why pet adoption, access to care, and local support matter, especially now.
Let’s keep this momentum going. Visit laanimalservices.com to adopt, access resources, or support your local shelter today.
